Hi and thanks for visiting my blogspace. Here are some encouraging words that helped me through those rough times in my separation and divorce. One day with years of going through different situations in my marriage, I ask God how many time should I keep forgetting. God reminded me of Matthew 18:21-22. This was a day that I guess I just broke, by not dealing with each thing that I had gone through. I cried for almost 2 hours. I use to read a book called Spriti-led woman. I never read anything but the stories never the testimonies. I had this book on my lap and it fell open to this testimony called SET FREE FOR DESTINY. Here's the story: Shortly after moving my daughter & me to Orlando from our home in Atlanta, my husband informed me that he didn't want to be married anymore. I didn't want my marriage to be over. One night as I was driving home I was overwhelmed with emotion. I looked at the dark slick roads & thought if I just jerk the wheel it would all be over. At that moment, a song Surround Me began playing on the cassette player in my car. Immediatly it spoke to my spirit and I began singing aloud as the presence of God filled the car.The song saved my life. When I finally surrendered and gave everything to God, He gave me a purpose for living again. In the days that followed, the Lord led me to 1 Corinthians 7:15. When I read that, God let me know that I could move on to fulfill the purpose and destiny for which He had created for me. He told me that I was more than an unwanted wife or a mom trying to make ends meet. I still battled low self-esteem issues. I went back to school to work towards a master's degree in music. As I walked out that part of my journey, the Lord brought my husband. A year after my wedding I became the assistant music director at my church. Later I was made praise and worship leader and within a short time I was ordained as worship pastor. Now I can tell others that everything you walk through is for a reason. God has a reason for everything that happens to us. I thought I would lose my life when my firts husband left me, but God gave me the one he ordained for me, who loves me and helps me fulfill my purpose in christ. I want other women to know that where you are now is not where you will always be. Now isn't that just like God to put something in your spirit to uplift you at the right time. I hope that this will encourage you as it did me.

Enjoy your visit! LET IT GO There are people who can walk away from you. When people can walk away from you, let the walk. I don't want you to try to talk another person into staying with you, loving you, calling you, caring about you, coming to see you, staying attached to you. When people can walk away from you let them walk. Your destiny is never tied to anybody that left. The bible states that, they came out from us, that it might be manifest that they were not for us. For had they been of us, no doubt they would have continued with us.(1 John;2:19 People leave you because they are not joined to you, you can not make them stay. LET THEM GO. It does not mean that they are a bad person because they no longer want to be with you. It means that their part in the story is over. You have to realize when it is over. You should know that whatever God means for you to have he will give it to you. If it takes too much sweat, you do not need it. Stop begging people to stay. Let them go!!! T.D.Jakes
